Turn your favorite way to spend your free time into a source of support for moms and babies! The Hike-Bike-Run benefits Blue Ridge Women's Center and the clients we serve—pregnant women and new mothers in challenging circumstances. Your participation enables the Center to continue providing free support services for hundreds of moms and babies each year...and you get to decide what you do as well as when and where you do it. It's easy to get started:

  • Step 1: Register. Sign up today! There's no cost to participate, and our online registration system will automatically create a pledge page that you can customize with your own information and use to spread the word to potential sponsors.

  • Step 2: Set your goals. Planning to run a marathon or half-marathon? Biking a certain number of miles this summer? Tackling an ambitious trail? On your pledge page, you can tell about your goal, the timing, and the support that you hope to raise. (Have a different hobby, like tennis or kayaking? You're welcome to raise funds doing that instead of hiking/biking/running!)

  • Step 3: Seek sponsors. Use the tools on your pledge page to ask your friends to sponsor you, or seek sponsors offline and then record them on your page. The more pledges you get, the more support the Hike-Bike-Run will bring to the women and babies we serve!

  • Step 4: Invite friends to participate with you. More participants = more support for moms and babies—and more fun besides! Invite friends to Hike-Bike-Run with you, and you can have their company in whatever activity you choose. Or what about starting a team and competing with other teams to raise the most funds to benefit our clients?

  • Step 5: Hike-Bike-Run! Maybe you can meet your goal in a single event, or maybe you've designed it to motivate you over the course of weeks or months. Either way, you can enjoy the activity you've chosen knowing that you're making a positive impact on our community! Won't you share the story of what you do, too, to encourage others to Hike-Bike-Run to support moms and babies?
